What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Our website address is: https://ringworms.net.
We are very careful about all the user information collected via our site.
This includes the visitors’ email addresses, names or IP addresses recorded by website’s data analytics tracking.
We do not share or give away such information to any third parties.
All the records are kept highly confidential and are not intended for any use or non-appropriate activities. The only parties that may see some of the network data (not personal ones) are the advertising providers on our site. We solely use only two main sources, Google Adsense (together with Analytics) and Amazon.
As visible on Ringworms’ pages we use various advertising units (the texts and graphics) with a few additional affiliate banners. All these services have their own cookies that may be stored on your computer for tracking purposes (IP address, operating system, browser type, time spent, etc.). However they do not collect any other personal information.
The only way we may use the provided users’ information is in our occasional newsletter send by email not more than once a month.
Should you have any concerns about our privacy policy, please, feel free to contact us with your questions.
Thank you for your understanding.
We Store Comments in our Database
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
